As we strive to develop the next generation of rental housing that will unlock missing middle housing in Toronto, an important component will be laneway houses and garden suites.
For our Bickford Park project we have chosen to partner with a local Toronto artist @chrispperez to create a full length mural that will act as a public art installation for the community. Not to mention a beautiful facade for the future tenants!
For our latest Garden Suite design we chose a more traditional approach, cladding the exterior of a historic coach house with stucco to create additional insulation while retaining the original brick on the interior. This created a unique freestanding loft in the heart of East York.
